The ROK Armed Forces Honor Guard Ceremony, a signature outdoor performance showcasing the dignity and traditions of South Korea’s military, is currently being held at the Peace Plaza of the Korea War Memorial Organization in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

The Korea War Memorial Organization announced Wednesday that the first-half ceremonies will be held every Friday at 2 p.m. at the Peace Plaza, encouraging public interest and attendance.

Launched on April 11, the ceremony begins with a military band performance and includes demonstrations by the female and traditional honor guards. It also features a combined performance featuring members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps honor guards.

After the approximately one-hour-long event, visitors can take commemorative photos with honor guard members, creating lasting memories.

The first-half ceremonies will run through June 20, while the second-half ceremonies are scheduled from early September through October.

The Korea War Memorial Organization emphasized that the events may be canceled in the case of rain or conflicting programs and advised those interested in attending to check the official website in advance for updates.
