▲ The South Korean military launched a Hyunmoo ground-to-ground missile, simulating a precision strike on an enemy’s ballistic missile launch site in response to North Korean provocations.

In response to North Korea’s continuous ballistic missile launches, the South Korean military conducted a ground-to-ground missile live-fire exercise on Thursday over the West Sea.

The exercise simulated an enemy ballistic missile launch. Using the Hyunmoo ground-to-ground missile, the South Korean military practiced procedures to accurately target the enemy provocation site.

Through this live-fire exercise, the South Korean military displayed its firm resolve to respond decisively to any provocation from North Korea, showcasing its capability and preparedness to strike enemy launch sites with precision.

Under a robust South Korea-U.S. combined defense posture, the South Korean military closely monitors North Korea’s military activities. It maintains the readiness and capability to respond overwhelmingly to any provocation.
