BEMIL Views

With the location of an enemy’s suspected Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) facility confirmed, South Korean Army soldiers swiftly enter the site, neutralize hostile forces, and remove the weapons, successfully completing their mission. To achieve such flawless execution in actual combat, the soldiers undergo intensive training regularly. Their dedication burns so fiercely that even subzero temperatures are barely noticed.

This photo report highlights the WMD removal training conducted by the Corps-Level Integrated Support Task Force (ISTF) of South Korea’s Army 1st Infantry Division on Tuesday at the Mugeon-ri Training Ground in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
